Mission

To eliminate anti-black racism, decrease disparities and restore justice and equity in lactation education and practice. We shall fulfill this mission by educating aspiring lactation professionals, birth workers and all who serve Black women, birthing people & their families throughout the perinatal and through the postpartum period and beyond.

Vision

To diversify lactation education, reduce breastfeeding disparities and highlight the unique history and lived experience of Black mothers, fathers, birthing people and families in America and the African diaspora as it pertains to lactation.
