45-Hour Blactaton Educator/Accomplice Training
A foundational professional lactation training course for aspiring Black IBCLCs and folks who support Black families. This course provides students with lactation-specific educational hours that qualify for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) 95-hour requirements. This training provides the student with a basic knowledge in:

      All cohorts will meet virtually over 3 days for 19 hours. The remaining hours will be completed at the student’s own pace by a designated due date, using an online teaching platform. Each cohort will provide students with 45 lactation specific educational hours; which qualifies for the IBLCE requirements. Class will not be held on Saturday and Sunday.

For those who successfully complete any of the First 5 Alameda sponsored 45-hours trainings, they are eligible to complete our first Certified Blactation Educator/Accomplice - Advance 50-Hours Training.
We are proud to announce that Certified Blactation Educator/Accomplice - Advance Training is now eligible for CERPS through the International Board of Lactation Consultants Examiners.
